Hornored and Humbled, Listening and Learning. I will make a positive difference! 23 Do you enjoy swimming?Went swimming this afternoon at SISU Swimming Pool. Since it has been really long long time I have not swam, at the start I was a a little afraid of water and refused to stayed alone. Later I felt comfortable in the water gradually, I believe if you can well handle it, it's as easy and natural as walking. Unfortunately I can only be named as swim learner at the moment. Swimming is not a team sport, it requires more of individual's courage & confidence, enthusiam & endeavor rather than the poolmates. Nevertheless, a good mentor plays a pivotal role for the learner. Today, for me, a good mentor plus a good learner = fantastic time playing with water. Located some tips re swimming skills on the Internet and thought it was worth copies out here.
Many things limit how fast a swimmer can swim, from swim technique to fitness to hand and foot size to a swimmer's natural bone and joint structure. There are several swimming technique skills you can work on to get faster in the water. These skill can also make you more efficient - you might go the same speed but use less energy. To increase swim speed, decrease swimming drag or increase swimming force. Swim slipperier (yes, that is a real word) or swim stronger - or both. The first steps to faster swimming are positioning, grabbing, pressing, and rotating, things that everyone can learn. Here are a few things to check before trying to put more muscle power into your swims.
Swim On! августа
The air is so clean, fresh after the rain
I smelled autumn coming
Enjoying of being optimistic and healthy
A good sweat makes a big sweet uaually
Feel refreshed after seeing my family
I think sometimes you need to step outside, clear your head
And remind yourself who you are, where you are now and where you wanna be
I thought my heart was opened widely before but in fact it was not
But it is trying, now, peacefully
Open to testing and judgement, criticism or compliments, ups or downs
Lost some of my naive smiles but learn to be more tough
I am still on my way
striving for survival and final thriving
Even occasionally I missed the original purpose for the pursuit
As always, I enjoy the process the most
Alexandre Dumas Pere ever said: all human wisdom is summed up in two words: wait and hope.
Right now I can not agree with it anymore.
Keep on:

Couldn't be more“ 爽”了
Well, w-e-l-l- ... ...!
But,
SPIRITUAL YOGA

In the second Part, Jonathan transcends into another society where all the gulls enjoy flying. He is only capable of this after practicing hard alone for a long time (described in the first part). In this other society, real respect emerges as a contrast of the coercive [kəu'ə:siv] 强制的 force that was keeping the former "Breakfast Flock" together. The learning process, linking the highly experienced teacher and the diligent student, is raised into almost sacred ['seikrid] 神圣的 level, suggesting that this may be the true relation between human and God. Because of this, Bach has been described as believing that human and God, regardless of the all immense difference, are sharing something of great importance that can bind them together: "You've got to understand that a seagull is an unlimited idea of freedom, an image of the Great Gull." He realizes that you have to be true to yourself. Part ThreeThe introduction to the third part of the book is the last words of Jonathan's teacher: "Keep working on love." In this part Jonathan understands that the spirit cannot be really free without the ability to forgive, and that the way to progress leads--for him, at least--through becoming a teacher, not just through working hard as a student. Jonathan returns to the Breakfast Flock to share his newly discovered ideals and the recent tremendous experience, ready for the difficult fight against the current rules of that society. The ability to forgive seems to be a mandatory ['mændətəri] 命令的, 强制性的"passing condition." "Do you want to fly so much that you will forgive the Flock, and learn, and go back to them one day and work to help them know?" Jonathan asks his first student, Fletcher Lynd Seagull, before getting into any further talks. The idea that the stronger can reach more by leaving the weaker friends behind seems totally rejected. Hence, love, deserved respect, and forgiveness all seem to be equally important to the freedom from the pressure to obey the rules just because they are commonly accepted. To be continued... |
